Coons Gallery is located on US-395 in Bishop, California where the north Fork of Bishop Creek crosses the highway at Tu Su Lane. The gallery was built in 1945 by the landscape painter and historic California Art Club member, Robert Clunie (1895-1984). In 1986, Clunie’s friend and fellow artist, Richard Coons purchased the gallery and made it the studio it is today.
